WHAT IS IAMS HOME 4 THE HOLIDAYS?
- Iams Home 4 the Holidays (IH4TH) is one of the world’s most successful pet adoption drive
- The program started in the U.S. when Iams and the Helen Woodward Animal Center joined forces with just 14 animal shelters in San Diego County. It has grown to more than 3,500 participating shelters and animal rescue organizations across the globe and has helped 3.2 million families experience the joy of pet adoption
- The 2009 campaign kicked off its 11th year in North America on October 1, 2009 and will run until January 4, 2010
- Last year, more than 1.2 million pets were placed in loving homes in North America, exceeding the goal of finding 1 million adoptions. In 2009, the campaign’s goal is to find happy, forever homes for 1.5 million pets
- Iams is committed to this program and the mission of enhancing the well-being of dogs and cats by not only helping find homes for orphaned pets, but by bringing together people and pets for a lifetime of health, happiness and love
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Every family/household who adopts a pet through IH4TH receives an Iams adoption kit filled with helpful tips and information to help make a new dog or cat’s first few days in their new home even better, and to ensure a long and happy relationship with its new family.
